  • 8 to 10 Green Achari Chillies
  • a teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon fennel
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • tsp sugar
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil

Chili pickle Method

  1. First of all, wash the chili and wipe it with a dry cloth and dry it thoroughly. Then cut them into round pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan on the gas. Add cumin and fennel to it and fry it.
  3. When the fennel and cumin seeds start spluttering, mix the pieces of asafoetida, turmeric and green chilies and cook on medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Now add sugar, lemon juice and salt to the chili and mix.
  5. After this turn off the gas and let the pickle cool down.
  6. Quick chili pickle is ready. You can store it in a box and keep it in the fridge for 3 to 4 days.
